Those ADT commercials always piss me off. You know the ones that show a mother and child freaking out while a perpetrator breaks into the house right in front of them. They always heavy up their media buy during back to school, Halloween and Christmas. Opportunistic, to say the least.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, someone has actually stepped to an even LOWER level to prey on fear.
Yeah, I live on the coast and with that comes the seasonal risk of hurricanes.
But I don't need State Farm playing this ad while I'm waiting for the latest Hurricane Irene update. It's wrong, it fuels unecessary fear and it's distasteful.
Screw you, State Farm.
